There has been a lot of profile posts about an ex seeking revenge, but when you click on this certain link it suddenly posts to your facebook wall and so on and so on. This is a hidden virus so be warned do not click anything of the sort! By using some creative CSS and an iFrame, this developer has triggered the “share” event every time a person clicks on the image displayed on the page. It’s a really creative trick, so you should definitely be aware of the issue.
Now lets be honest, we all have been tagged in an embarrassing photo/video on facebook. Want to know a way to avoid this simple mistake?
Well its very simple, just follow these simple steps.
1.Log in to your facebook account.
2.Click on your profile privacy page
3.Click profile information.
4.Click photo’s and videos of me and then select ‘customize’.
5.A box should then come up looking like this…
6.Select the option ‘only me’.
Thats done.
If you want certain friends then click the certain friends and so on. Very ssimple steps but a sure winner to avoid embarressments.
Scientists have proven that 150 friends is the most that we can cope with. The obsession with adding new friends is bigger than you may think. Nearly 85% of us add friends we “think” we know or add even if we don’t know them just to make our friend lists seem bigger. Sad but very true.
Oxford University Professor Robin Dunbar has conducted a study of social groupings throughout the centuries, from neolithic villages to modern office environments. His findings are based on his ‘dunbar theory’ which asserts that size of the part of the brain used for conscious thought and language, limits us to managing 150 friends no matter how much we think we know!
A number of people on Facebook’s ad team seem pretty convinced that they’ll be gone shortly although Facebook’s comms centre are not confirming anything jusy yet. A Business article from yesterday quoted a Microsoft employee who said that they might be “adjusting or changing” (losing) their ad inventory! Lets see if Facebook finally do get rid of the advertisements or not.
