Its important to remember this as there are a lot of sites out there that try to con you into believing that they are facebook, a useful thing to watch out for as sites that might start like http://www.net.facebook.com for example, this looks like an official site but notice the “net” before the facebook and that is where they con you. Please be aware.

Always have a good up to date virus checker.

3. FIREWALL

Make sure that your firewall is turned on

4. E-MAIL PROTECTION

Make sure that your e-mails are protected.

5. KEEP DETAILS TO YOURSELF

Never give out your facebook login details to anyone…..always be wary of small sites asking for your details as more than likely they will use your details for other things.

6. FORGET ME

Never use “remember me” features, they sound good and give you an easy log in but if anyone else uses the computer they can change your details and thats your profile gone.
